The Greater Los Angeles Career Awareness Day is a nationally recognized, annual event that exposes high school students to careers in the construction industry. Each year since its inception in 2009, we have introduced approximately 3,000 students, to the Construction industry. Students representing 40 LAUSD high schools and one community college, have participated in the annual event. We have approximately 42 exhibitors and apprenticeship program workshops provided by construction companies and local trade unions.
